The receiving agent is responsible for receiving/monitoring of all incoming packages including all food and beverage deliveries, checks in visitors/vendors to building, overall security throughout back of house, and cleanliness/organization of loading dock and storage areas.


  • Receives all incoming orders to property including food & beverage and all other products.
  • Ensures all deliveries are picked up by/delivered to proper department agent.
  • Verifies, counts and signs packing slips, matches with invoices and codes for accounting.
  • Communicates shorts/overages on invoices.
  • Work with Accounting on purchasing
  • Logs liquor invoices into perpetual log.
  • Log in and assign name badges to visitors, vendors, delivery, maintenance and other individuals entering the property.
  • Monitor all bags and boxes leaving property.
  • Answers phones, radio requests in a professional manner.
  • Oversee security and activity in back of house and general storeroom/supply rooms.
  • Directly responsible for organization and sanitation of loading dock, receiving areas and storage rooms.


  • 1-2 years’ previous experience in a receiving agent capacity required.
  • Previous experience in a security role preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to meet and exceed expectations.\
  • Must possess an energetic and motivated personality and able to accept/follow direction.
  • Must have good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Good computer skills required including intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must be a positive, team player.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Able to be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • High School degree or equivalent, college a plus.
