As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for the setup, service, and tear down of meetings and events hosted for our members and clients in accordance to our outstanding service criteria.  Previous serving experience and open availability is preferred.


  • Participate in room set up and tear down in accordance with event standards and needs
  • Provide menu, plated, butler, and buffet style service according to event needs
  • Maintain tables by clearing plates, replenishing drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Replenish buffets, food & beverage stations, and snack breaks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event rooms, bus stations, side stations, and kitchen
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Communicate with management, team members, and kitchen staff to ensure prompt and efficient service
  • Stock glasses, silverware, and related supplies, and complete other duties as assigned.


  • Must have a working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer as well as all other products offered.
  • Previous banquet or catering serving experience is required. Work experience in a high-end or luxury/upscale environment is a plus.
  • Must be organized, follow directions and make quick decisions that are consistent with established company standards.
  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral.  Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility in availability is required, as this position will be scheduled to work based on banquet events at the hotel. Shifts may include early mornings, late evenings/nights, weekends and holidays.


Physical Demands

Must be able to:

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors.
