Clean, sanitize and organize assigned guest rooms as well as additional projects that may be required to meet sbe standards.

  
  

Responsibilities

  • Completes job assignment according to the department specifications. 
  • Performs with the highest quality level in consistently manner. 
  • Replaces supplies, mops floors, vacuums, empties trash, and dusts as needed.  Completes turndown of guestrooms as assigned. 
  • Has the ability to communicate with people within and outside the department in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Has impeccable hygiene and grooming standards 
  • Has excellent attendance and punctuality 
  • Is flexible and able to adapt to changes. 
  • Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, injuries, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately. 
  • Takes active role in hotel Energy Conservation Program. 
  • Is knowledgeable of MSDS program. 
  • Follows and understands Hotel and Department policies and procedures in constantly manner. 
  • Maintains professional body language and diction. 
  • Reports accidents immediately. 
  • Establishes good public relations with guest and will conduct them in a manner that merits the guest's confidence and respect. 
  • Picks up department recycle items as scheduled or directed 
  • Takes every opportunity to impress the guest. 
  • Has smile, makes eye contact and greets guests immediately upon each encounter   

 

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Must be able to spend long hours sitting, walking, and bending. Including but not limited to pulling, pushing, standing, etc. 
  • Be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. 
  • Be able to work well with a variety of people. 
  • Be safety-conscious at all times with equipment as well as chemicals 
  • Is flexible and able to work efficiently with a variety of people 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Must be adept to multitasking. 
  • Experience  Prior Housekeeping experience is preferred. 
  • Grooming  All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance per SLS standards.
