Responsibilities

The Director of Branding is primarily responsible for further developing and strengthening the company’s brands. Further, He/she is responsible for identifying market trends, creating opportunities for growth and brand alignment with third party partners. He/she will guide the branding efforts by fostering a “sky’s the limit” approach in leadership with the ability to develop and train the team of each property in a rapidly changing industry and fast-paced environment. Innovative methods will be sought out and implemented to address competitive market challenges that will ensure the company’s success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain brand standards across all properties
  • Help evolve and improve the visual brand library
  • Strong understanding of brand, maintaining brand standards, and brand marketing
  • Create and oversee for each brand operations brand standards/voice to be used on property
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing’s role in promotions
  • Compile, assess, and recommend menu development needs and opportunities to drive profitable sales for the sbe brands
  • Identify, vet, and collaborate with other sbe departments on areas of opportunity for brand innovation (e.g., menu, technology, guest experience)
  • Oversee the development of local restaurants, hotels and nightlife branding creative assets (programs and materials) as needed from the regional Marketing team
  • Manage third-party agencies regarding overall strategy input and execution
  • Manage the assessment, analytics, and reporting of marketing program effectiveness, based on
  • collaborate with the marketing team  to create sbe marketing strategy as it pertains to brand positioning, direction, and executional strategy
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing & Strategy on digital execution of marketing activations, data & insight reporting and creative support
  • Partner with the Events team to identify trade show opportunities and manage on-site presence and activation of a year-round marketing calendar
  • Provide guidance for graphic design for all print & online materials; one-sheets, presentations
  • Work with the Events team in identifying influencers and potential strategic partners and work to build relationships with those individuals/brand (trade, media and referral organizations); managing relationships with current strategic partners
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing & Strategy on Social Media & Content campaigns and strategies, ROI reporting, competitive analysis, and community management, sales funnel and CRM support materials.
  • Partner with Executive Management and the Technology team on website messaging, communication templates and sales material redesign projects
  • Partner with Human Resources to refresh companywide Brand Messaging and Brand Message Training

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree in business, marketing or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • Required Hotel Resort or Luxury/Hospitality experience is a must
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, Public Relations, or brand marketing - particularly in a fast growing company
  • Ecommerce experience a plus
  • Solid writing and verbal communication skills
  • Connections and activity in the social world
  • Strong strategic, analytic, financial, and consumer research skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with previous experience in effectively growing and nurturing marketing teams
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
