  • Overview

    The Manger is responsible for promoting and developing a positive culture in accordance with SBE’s mission, values, and vision statement. He/She assists with the policies and procedures, recruitment and hiring practices and enhances general strategies for profitability, sustainability and longevity of sbe.


    Assist with cultivating and mentoring leadership within the venue while assisting with the P&L, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Accounts Payable and Human Resources functions. Responsible for nightly reports and cash-outs, invoices, purchase journals, IQB Back Office and monitoring BEVINCO reports. He/she will also assist other venue Managers with the nightly scheduling, and with both the nightly staff and floor management.

    Assist with providing oversight of the following functions in conjunction with SBE’s Human Resources Manager:
    •Employee Relations
    •Evaluation of Performance and Productivity
    •Defines Employee Standards of Conduct and ensures employee compliance

    •Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high end hospitality/restaurant industry is highly preferred
    •Fine dining experience is required
    •Highly organized with excellent follow up skills and extreme attention to detail
    •Understanding of a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
    •Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced, high pressure environment
    •Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities
    •Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
    •Exceptional communication skills and articulation
    •Strong email and internet skills
    •Proficiency in Excel as well as other Microsoft applications
    •Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
    •Strong verbal and writing skills

They must also be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment as well as:
    Solid financial skills and the ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meetfinancial goals

    Superior organizational and follow up skills with extreme attention to detail
    Strong email, PC and internet skills - including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
    Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond
