Do you dream about creating the next great cocktail?  Do you count your pours while you sleep?  The Cleo bartender is responsible for greeting, and guiding guests through an amazing experience, as well as mixing drinksand cocktails for fellow team members!

 

Cleo is hiring Bartenders

 

Responsibilities

Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

  • Must love and support their TEAM!
  • Must love and take care of our guests!
  • Must say “yes” and “thank you” often!
  • Greet all guests warmly
  • Prepares and services beverages for servers and guests in an accurate, timely and friendly manner, using SBE’s mixology techniques & recipes
  • Goes above and beyond to guide each guest through a memorable experience
  • Ensures that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol
  • Performs proper cash, comp, and check control procedures
  • Takes inventory of the bar on a regular basis
  • Provides guests with accurate information about the restaurant and property as well as entertainment offered in each as needed
  • Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest and team members needs when the opportunity arises
  • Communicates with management, and service staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests
  • Refills ice as needed
  • Restocks glassware as needed
  • Cuts fruit and garnish as needed
  • Restocks liquor and beer as needed
  • Keeps a well-organized and clean bar
  • Setup and breakdown bar and well as directed
  • Follows Cleo Inventory Control requirements
  • Must be able to pass pour test on a regular basis

 

Qualifications

  • Prefer at least three (3) years of prior experience as a Bartender
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Has current expertise in the cocktail industry and knowledge of bar trends
  • Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
  • Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
  • Exceptional communication skills and articulation
  • Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and maintain focused on the details
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
